A procedural abortion gently removes a pregnancy from the uterus using suction. The procedure itself usually takes 5–10 minutes and is completed in one visit. Plan to spend 3+ hours at the clinic for your appointment, including an ultrasound, bloodwork, the procedure, and recovery. Most people feel well enough to return to their usual daily activities the next day.

Before you book:

• Pregnancy range: We provide procedural abortions up to 15 weeks of pregnancy.

• Online booking: A valid OHIP number is required to book online.

• Getting home: You will not be able to drive to or from your procedure. Please arrange transportation for the day.
