Medication abortion (Abortion Pill) is an option for ending an early pregnancy up to 10 weeks. It uses two medications taken on separate days to empty the uterus through cramping and bleeding, similar to a miscarriage. This option allows you to manage the abortion at home, in a private and familiar space. Cramping and bleeding can be stronger than a typical period, and bleeding may continue for about two weeks.

Before you book:

• Pregnancy range: Available up to 10 weeks of pregnancy, depending on your medical assessment.

• Appointment length: Plan to spend 3 hours at the clinic.

• Online booking: A valid OHIP card is required.

Please book the appointment that matches your preferred abortion option. A medication abortion appointment cannot be changed to a procedural (surgical) abortion on the day of your visit.
